| Racers Solve Rockets, 4-2 | Bowling Green right-hander Gary Compton made an effective start against the Reno Rockets at Red Rocket Field, leading his team to a 4-2 win. Atsuya Suda was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 24 of 27 save opportunities. The Racers now own a record of 52-59.
The Racers got a big at-bat from third baseman Lou Schanowski. For the game, Schanowski was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
