| Paczkis Need Extras to Top Rockets | The Canton Paczkis faced a tough opponent in Reno pitcher Vinny Caballero, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Mckinley Park by a final score of 8-7. Caballero went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Paczkis bumped their record to 56-54 with this latest triumph.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Canton second baseman Noah Smith, facing José Vásquez, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Paczkis the 8-7 win.
"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Smith.
