Gaffaney, Bombers Too Much for Freeze

Bronx right fielder Bill Gaffaney had a 4-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 9-1 win over the Minneapolis Freeze. The Bombers bumped their record to 63-48 with this latest triumph.

Gaffaney had a key at-bat for Bronx early in the game. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 11th home run of the season and gave Bronx an early 3-0 lead.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Gaffaney.
