| Bumblebees Win at Calgary, 11-6 | With first baseman Jerry LeGore leading the charge, the Pasadena Bumblebees defeated the Calgary Kodiaks, 11-6, at Foothills Stadium. LeGore went 2-5 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Pasadena starter Jerry Kennedy was credited with the win after throwing 91 pitches over 5 innings. His record now stands at 4-5. Pasadena, at 52-56, sits in third place in the TMLAAA Joe Torre Division.
LeGore had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a 1-2 changeup from Joe Manfredi, he banged a grand slam home run to left, giving the Bumblebees a 9-5 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for LeGore.
