| Mustangs Need Extra Frames to Get Past Freeze | With shortstop Jorge Ortega leading the charge, the Billings Mustangs defeated the Minneapolis Freeze, 7-5, at Cobb Field. Ortega, who is tied for 2nd in the TAAA in triples with 7, went 4 for 4 with a triple, a double, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs. The Mustangs bumped their record to 65-43 with this latest triumph.
Billings won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With no outs and Jesus Espinoza on the mound for Minneapolis, left fielder Ian Seeger hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Mustangs fans to their feet.
"Jorge is still learning," said Mustangs manager Jorge Magana. "The sky's the limit for him."
