| Baristas Lose, 4-2, at Stanley Park | Silver Lake got a terrific performance from pitcher Tenkou Miura, but it wasn't enough to beat the Vancouver Canadians. Vancouver won the Stanley Park contest, 4-2. Miura was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He threw 6 innings of 5-hit ball. Brad Harr was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 5 save opportunities. Vancouver's record now stands at 48-59, placing them 5th in the RCL AAA Bobby Cox Division.
The Canadians got a big at-bat from designated hitter Rob Bjorndahl. For the game, Bjorndahl went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Vancouver a 2-0 lead.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Silver Lake skipper Diego Aguirre, "and it cost us."
