| Mayes Powers Baristas to 7-4 Win | The Silver Lake Baristas dealt the Vancouver Canadians a 7-4 loss at Stanley Park. Oscar Mayes was the star on offense. He was 2-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 times and driving in 2. Jared Jones got the save, his 3rd in 3 chances. The Baristas bumped their record to 58-46 with this latest triumph.
The Baristas got a big at-bat from third baseman Vernon Prest. For the game, Prest was 3-5 with 3 singles. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 80th hit of the season gave Silver Lake a 1-0 lead.
