| Redbirds Win at Antioch, 10-5 | Antioch got a terrific game from designated hitter Ben Eisner. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Candiac, 10-5. Eisner was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs. The last-place Redbirds improved to 39-66.
Aaron Tarter hit a 2-run double off George Fortin Jr. in the top of the seventh, which put the Redbirds in front, 7-5. In addition to the double, Tarter had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We'll savor this win," Tarter told the Candiac Observer, "then get ready for the next game."
