| Rhinos Prevail, 3-2, Over San Francisco | Rubber City Rhinos starter Sigfrid Arnim turned in a sterling performance against the San Francisco Earthquakes, leading his team to a slim 3-2 win. Arnim got the win, improving to 1-4. He allowed 11 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. Arnim allowed 2 earned runs. The Earthquakes fall to 12-15 and continue their lackluster start to the 2038 season.
In the bottom of the 6th, first baseman Robbie Sarmiento gave Rubber City the lead when he hit a 2-run double. The Rhinos had been trailing 2-1, but the two-out double off San Francisco pitcher Orlando Garza changed that -- and Rubber City went on to win.
In postgame comments to the Rubber City Herald, Arnim said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
