The Albuquerque Cacti defeated the Silver Lake Baristas, 4-2, at Albuquerque Sports Stadium. Albuquerque center fielder Benito De Angelis was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3-5 with 2 home runs and a double. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The win boosts the Cacti to 50-52. The loss puts the Baristas at 56-45.

De Angelis had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the tenth. On a 2-0 fastball from Angelo Cobian, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Cacti a 4-2 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for De Angelis.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," De Angelis said in his postgame press conference.
