Bombers Win at Reno, 5-4

The Bronx Bombers defeated the Reno Rockets, 5-4, in TMLAAA action at Red Rocket Field, with Bronx pitcher Tony Aaron named player of the game. The Bombers bumped their record to 57-45 with this latest triumph.

This game was not decided until late. With one out in the top of the ninth, Jamie Drum hit a sacrifice fly. The Bombers took the lead, 5-4.

"I liked his command," said Bronx manager Glen Slaughter. "Tony was throwing strikes."
