Cats, Sternlicht Pin Bad Loss on Redbirds

The Fort Worth Cats beat the Candiac Redbirds, 16-1, at LaGrave Field. Fort Worth third baseman Glenn Sternlicht earned player of the game honors. He collected 2 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 2 runs. Fort Worth reliever Jamie Newitt picked up the win, bumping his record to 6-1. Michael Walsh was collared with the loss. The Cats bumped their record to 61-41 with this latest triumph.
