| Racers Score Late to Upend Caterpillars, 3-2 | Bowling Green rode a good effort from starter Ryokan Endo to beat the Peoria Caterpillars at Top of the Hill. The final score was 3-2. The Racers saw their record improve to 45-53.
Had Jason Conradt not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Conradt hit a 3-run home run. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Racers.
"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Roberto Martínez.
