| Flash Win at Bronx, 7-3 | The Fairfield Flash downed the Bronx Bombers, 7-3, at Bronx Ballpark. The Flash were led by Senta Nakano, who captured player of the game honors. He was 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Graham Bennett, credited with the win, is now 9-4. He allowed 2 runs on 7 hits in 6 innings. Eduardo Fuentez got the save, his 15th in 18 chances.
Fairfield grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Nakano hit a grand slam home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Flash out in front, 6-2.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Nakano told reporters after the game.
The Flash bumped their record to 54-45 with this latest triumph.
