| Freeze Get Close Win Over Cats | The The Ice Box faithful were treated to an exciting walk-off win.
The Minneapolis Freeze racked up a win at The Ice Box, bumping off the Fort Worth Cats, 5-3. Jose Montalvo, who started for Minneapolis, pitched effectively for his team. The second-place Freeze have won 5 in a row.
Ken Simpson was the walk-off hero for Minneapolis. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Freeze left fielder hit a dramatic 2-run home run to send the teams home.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Simpson told the Minneapolis Observer.
