| Extra-Inning Win by Aeropostales over Bumblebees | The Indian Wells Aeropostales did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. Nobody did more than pitcher Juan Carlos Gómez, who captured player of the game honors. Yonetoshi Morikawa was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 14 save opportunities. Pasadena now has a 6-game losing streak.
The Bumblebees had trouble solving Gómez, who surrendered 1 earned run on 1 hit over 7.1 innings.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Gómez told the Indian Wells Bulletin.
