| Cacti Prove Rude Guests, Win 7-0 at Reno | A nice crowd turned out to see the Albuquerque Cacti and Reno Raiders clash at House of Pain.
Albuquerque beat Reno on the strength of starter Terry Yarrigle's fine effort. The right-hander led his team to a 7-0 win. Guo-xiu Du notched his 1st save in 2 chances.
Dennis Mayne aided the Albuquerque cause with a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the right fielder went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once.
"It feels good to get this one," Yarrigle told the Albuquerque Citizen.
Today's win puts Albuquerque at 45-51, while Reno falls to 41-55.
