| Racers Prevail, 4-2, Over Silver Lake | The Bowling Green Racers took Silver Lake pitcher Colby Virella's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Top of the Hill. The final score had Bowling Green getting past the Baristas, 4-2. Virella went 7 innings and allowed 4 earned runs, striking out 2. Chad McCarty, credited with the win, is now 4-2. He allowed no runs on no hits in 4.1 innings. Bowling Green is now 44-50, Silver Lake 55-39.
The Racers got a big at-bat from center fielder Juan López. For the game, López went 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Bowling Green a 2-0 lead.
