The Peoria Caterpillars had no problem beating the Astoria Argonauts, 12-3, at Excavatar Park. Nick DeLuca led the way. He went 3 for 4 with a double, 2 singles, and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Peoria. Tony Colunga, credited with the win, is now 1-2. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 4.1 innings.
