Spirited fans at Top of the Hill greeted the Bowling Green Racers for their clash with the Silver Lake Baristas.

The Silver Lake Baristas got a strong performance from pitcher Andres Jimenez, who stymied the Bowling Green offense en route to a 3-0 win at Top of the Hill. Jimenez went 5.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 3, and struck out 4. His record improves to 1-0.

Kelly Perry swatted a 2-run home run for Silver Lake in the top of the first. The first baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 2.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Silver Lake skipper Diego Aguirre.
