The Fairfield Flash knocked off the Reno Rockets, 10-3, at Red Rocket Field. Daniel Cruz, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason Fairfield won. The right fielder was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Grant Huffman got the win, improving to 5-4. He worked 6.2 innings, giving up 3 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. Fairfield occupies third place in the RCL AAA Tony La Russa Division at 52-41.

The Flash got a big at-bat from first baseman Jon Dibling. For the game, Dibling went 1-4 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the sixth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run single. His 16th hit of the season gave Fairfield a 5-3 lead.
