| Bears Lose, 5-2, at Top of the Hill | Bowling Green left fielder Doug Sanders was instrumental in his team's 5-2 win over the Birmingham Bears. Sanders, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2031 draft, went 1-3 with 2 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Racers. The Racers' win now puts them at 43-48.
Tony Gonzales, who is rated as the 48th best prospect by BNN, aided the Bowling Green cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the first baseman was 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
