| Late Rally by Phantoms Secures Win | Coronado first baseman Salvatore Marroquin had 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Canton Paczkis, 4-3. Coronado goes to 37-54, Canton to 47-43.
Marroquin had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the eighth. On a 2-2 sinker from Steve Steenburg, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Phantoms a 4-3 lead. It was the 14th home run of the year for Marroquin.
"Honestly, I'm not frustrated," said Canton manager Brian Moore. "The effort was great."
