| Bumblebees Prevail, 3-1, Over Reno | In a well-pitched game between the Pasadena Bumblebees and the Reno Raiders, pitcher Gilberto Vega was fantastic. The Pasadena right-hander was named the player of the game in Pasadena's 3-1 win. Zachary Royster got the save, his 14th in 14 chances. Reno, at 39-49, has lost 6 straight.
The Bumblebees got a big at-bat from center fielder Sam Henderson. For the game, Henderson went 2-4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the bottom of the fourth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 6th home run of the season gave Pasadena a 3-1 lead.
