| Multi-HR Day for Kym as Phantoms Overpower Canadians, 11-8 | With designated hitter Min-u Kym leading the charge, the Coronado Phantoms defeated the Vancouver Canadians, 11-8, at Stanley Park. Kym, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2037 draft, was 3-4 with 2 home runs, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 4 times and drove in 4. The Canadians have now dropped 5 straight.
Kym had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch fastball from Cai-fei Men, he banged a 3-run home run to left, giving the Phantoms a 11-8 lead. It was the 2nd home run of the year for Kym.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Kym said after the game.
