| Argonauts Edge Past Mustangs, 7-6 | Dedicated fans at Golden Fleece Park weathered the storm to watch their beloved Argonauts beat the Mustangs.
With catcher Morgan Catterall leading the charge, the Astoria Argonauts defeated the Billings Mustangs, 7-6, at Golden Fleece Park. Catterall, who is tied for 4th in the TAAA in bases on balls with 58, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. Reliever Oscar Rodriguez picked up the win. His record improves to 1-2. Joe Gillard took the loss.
Tyler Cook chipped in for Astoria with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 runs batted in.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Cook said after the game.
At 33-56, Astoria is in last place in the TMLAAA Cito Gaston League.
