| Fireballs Win at Candiac, 5-1 | The Joplin Fireballs got a strong performance from pitcher Dave McCrudden, who stymied the Candiac offense en route to a 5-1 win at Municipal Stadium. At 39-48, Joplin is in 5th place in the TMLAAA Joe Torre Division.
Benjamin Donahoo swatted a 2-run home run for Joplin in the top of the first. The second baseman went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
