With first baseman Jeremy Bassett leading the charge, the Fort Worth Cats defeated the Indian Wells Aeropostales, 4-3, at LaGrave Field. Bassett, who is tied for 9th in the RAAA in RBI with 47, went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Fort Worth goes to 55-34. The win puts them 7 games up in their division.

Bassett had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the third inning, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Cats went on to win.

"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Bassett said after the game.
