| Armada Win in Extras | The Quebec Armada outlasted the Las Vegas Aces in an extra-inning thriller.
In a tight contest at Sin City Stadium, the Quebec Armada edged the Las Vegas Aces by the score of 5-4. Quebec right fielder Jerry Vega, who blasted 1 home run, was named the player of the game. The Armada are off to a tough start, getting just their 8th win in 26 games.
The Armada got a big at-bat from first baseman Kichisaburo Tanaka. For the game, Tanaka was 1-4 with a hit by pitch. In the top of the 11th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 28th hit of the season gave Quebec a 5-4 lead.
"I'm just happy to help the team win," Vega told the Quebec Daily News.
