| Phantoms Win at Vancouver, 7-2 | Coronado rode a fine outing from starter Bor-zeng Bei to victory over the Vancouver Canadians at Stanley Park. The final score was 7-2. Joe Starring converted his 2nd save in 4 tries. Vancouver's current losing streak is now 4 games.
The Phantoms got a big at-bat from second baseman Rich Gonzalez. For the game, Gonzalez went 3-5 with 3 singles. In the top of the fourth, with a runner on 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 54th hit of the season gave Coronado a 2-1 lead.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Bei told the Coronado Today.
