| Paczkis Prevail, 5-3, Over Vancouver | The Paczkis faced a stiff challenge from Vancouver pitcher Dave Francisco, but persevered to claim a win at Mckinley Park. The final score was 5-3. Francisco went 5 innings and allowed 1 earned run. Canton reliever Juan Ortíz was the winner. His record is now 3-2. Thomas Kearton took the loss. John Knight got the save, his 22nd in 25 chances.
In the bottom of the sixth inning, designated hitter Chris McNair came through big-time for the Paczkis. With Canton trailing 3-1, he belted a 2-run home run.
"We did enough to win," said McNair.
The Paczkis bumped their record to 46-41 with this latest triumph.
