Minneapolis rode a fine outing from starter Ricky Juarez to victory over the Joplin Fireballs at The Firepit. The final score was 5-1. Minneapolis is now 40-47, while Joplin is 38-47.

The Freeze got a big at-bat from third baseman Jamie Milligan. For the game, Milligan went 1-2 with a double, while adding 3 RBI. In the top of the second, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 6th double of the season gave Minneapolis a 3-1 lead.

"This level of focus will win us a lot of ballgames," Juarez said after the game.
