It was a fun time at Cobb Field, where the Calgary Kodiaks and Billings Mustangs tangled.

Jorge Ortega helped his team muscle past the Calgary Kodiaks, 9-1. In the game, the Billings shortstop went 3-5 with a triple and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 4. Mark Sparling converted his 1st save in 1 tries.

John Thompson had a chance to do some damage in the top of the fifth. With Calgary trailing 3-0, Calgary had runners on 1st and 3rd. Thompson hit into a double play. But it was not enough. Calgary would not finish the comeback.
