| Kodiaks Stymie Astoria, Take 5-0 Win | The Calgary Kodiaks got a strong performance from pitcher Erik Fletcher, who stymied the Astoria offense en route to a 5-0 win at Foothills Stadium. The winning pitcher was Fletcher, now 9-3. He tossed 7 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 5. The Kodiaks bumped their record to 47-35 with this latest triumph.
Dave Sorensen aided the Calgary cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the shortstop was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles.
