| Sphinx Lose, 4-2, at House of Pain | Reno rode a decent outing from starter Iemitsu Shiroi to victory over the Cairo Sphinx at House of Pain. The final score was 4-2. Diego Contreras, credited with the save, is now 19 for 19 in save opportunities. The second-place Raiders improved to 38-41.
The Raiders got a big at-bat from right fielder Ken Donovan. For the game, Donovan was 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Reno a 2-0 lead.
