| Paczkis Clip Bumblebees in Tight Contest | The Canton Paczkis scored a 3-2 win versus the Pasadena Bumblebees at The Hole. Canton pitcher Terry Duncan nabbed top player honors in the tight contest. Canton reliever Jose Avilez was the winner. His record is now 2-1. The losing pitcher was Zachary Royster. The Paczkis bumped their record to 42-37 with this latest triumph.
The Paczkis got a big at-bat from pinch hitter Jorge Juarez. For the game, Juarez went 1-1 with a home run. In the top of the ninth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Canton a 3-2 lead.
"We put some tough at-bats on some tough pitches," said Canton manager Brian Moore.
