Stogies Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win

The Havana Stogies gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.

The Havana Stogies defeated the Tonga G.o.D., 6-5. Earning player of the game honors was right fielder Yeow-whye Jing, who was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times. Havana, now 3-0, has gotten their season off to a good start.

The Stogies got a big at-bat from center fielder Willie Hayes. For the game, Hayes went 1 for 2. In the bottom of the 13th, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 1st hit of the season gave Havana a 6-5 lead.

"It's a thrill to get that kind of win," Jing said.
