| Mustangs Prevail, 4-2, Over Fort Worth | The Billings Mustangs topped the Fort Worth Cats, 4-2, in TMLAAA action at Cobb Field. The player of the game was Billings pitcher and Canada native John Curnew. Tokuhei Yano, credited with the save, is now 7 for 8 in save opportunities. Billings is now 48-31, 2˝ games up in the TMLAAA Cito Gaston League.
The Mustangs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Robert Cabral. For the game, Cabral went 1-3 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run double. His 10th double of the season gave Billings a 2-1 lead.
