Aces Prevail, 7-6, Over Quebec

Las Vegas third baseman Bill Beasley was instrumental in his team's 7-6 win over the Quebec Armada. Beasley, who is tied for 8th in the RCL in doubles with 6, went 3-4 with 1 run scored to lead the offensive attack for the Aces. Las Vegas reliever Nelson Cardona was credited with the win, to go to 3-2. Chris Coady took the loss for Quebec. Chata Jamaot earned save number 4.

Las Vegas took a 7-6 lead in the bottom of the seventh inning. With one out, catcher Evan Hemming hit a 2-run home run that set the crowd abuzz.

"Winning is all that really matters and we got it done today," Hemming told the Las Vegas Daily News.

The Armada, now 7-18, continue their poor start.
