Kodiaks Come Back Late to Top Canadians

Kodiaks catcher Tooru Miyahira put his stamp on his team's 8-6 win over the Vancouver Canadians. Miyahira was 3-5 with 3 doubles. He scored 2 runs for Calgary in the contest. Ramon Martinez notched his 12th save in 15 chances. Vancouver's current losing streak is now 7 games.

Miyahira had a game-changing double in the top of the ninth. On a 0-1 slider from Steve Higgins, he banged a run-scoring double to right-center, giving the Kodiaks a 7-6 lead. It was the 8th double of the year for Miyahira.
