Fans who came to LaGrave Field watched the Fort Worth Cats and the Antioch Coal Miners fight to the finish.

The Fort Worth Cats bested the Antioch Coal Miners, 6-5, at LaGrave Field. Rob Koller was named player of the game. He went 3 for 4 with 2 doubles. Fort Worth reliever David Dillon picked up the win, bumping his record to 3-0. Ijaz Kharoti was collared with the loss. Sam Thomas notched his 1st save in 1 chances.

A crucial at-bat came with a runner on 1st and no one out in the bottom of the seventh inning. That's when third baseman Glenn Sternlicht, who is tied for 5th in the NAL in hits with 82, hit a double. The Cats went on to win.

"We found a way to get it done," Koller said.

The Cats bumped their record to 48-29 with this latest triumph.
