| Beavers Lose, 4-2, at Sin City Stadium | Benefiting from Kol-in-sen Koo's productive game, the Las Vegas Aces downed the Portland Beavers, 4-2. Koo went 4 for 4 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Aces. Victor Dominguez, credited with the win, is now 2-2. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits in 6 innings. Jesus Salazar recorded his 4th save for Las Vegas.
The Aces got a big at-bat from center fielder Callum Mannion. For the game, Mannion went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Las Vegas a 2-0 lead.
"Say want you want about this team, they play nine innings hard," said Las Vegas manager Dave Maloney.
Losses have been few and far between for the Beavers so far this season. Their record drops to 16-8.
