| Paczkis Need Extra Frames to Get Past Bears | The Birmingham Bears went down to defeat to Xiong Yang and his Canton teammates. The final score was 4-2 in favor of the Paczkis. The Paczkis bumped their record to 38-35 with this latest triumph.
Canton took a 4-2 lead on Eric Clements's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Birmingham pitcher Nobuhiko Newton in the bottom of the 11th.
"Our team showed some spunk," said Clements.
