| Rockets Win at Albuquerque, 2-0 | Left-hander John Ketchum mesmerized the Albuquerque Cacti while leading the Reno Rockets to a 2-0 victory. In 7 innings, Ketchum surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 0. He allowed no runs. The Rockets saw their win-loss record go to 29-45. At the same time, the Cacti fell to 35-38.
Matt Sullivan drove in one run for Reno. The 26-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With one out and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he broke a 0-0 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Mario Deleón. It was his 23rd RBI of the season.
"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Sullivan.
