| Racers Walk It Off for 37th Win of Season | The Bowling Green Racers faced a tough opponent in Vancouver pitcher David Peralta, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Top of the Hill by a final score of 3-2. Peralta went 6.2 innings and allowed 1 earned run. The Racers bumped their record to 37-32 with this latest triumph.
The Racers were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth when second baseman Masahiro Miura turned a first pitch sinker from Steve Higgins into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent a roar through the crowd and gave Bowling Green a thrilling 3-2 win.
"Nice to put this one in the win column," said Miura.
