| Cats Turn Back Silver Lake, 7-6 | The Fort Worth Cats turned back the Silver Lake Baristas, 7-6, at LaGrave Field. Rob Koller was named player of the game for his fine performance. He went 2 for 2 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Fort Worth reliever Javier Galindo picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Jose Caceres was saddled with the loss. Bob Campos was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 9 of 11 save opportunities.
Lyle Wolochow, who is tied for 9th in the NAL in triples with 3, aided the Fort Worth cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the shortstop was 1 for 5, while adding 2 RBI.
