Cats Bang Out 7-3 Win Versus Silver Lake

It was a good time at LaGrave Field, where fans came to watch the Silver Lake Baristas and Fort Worth Cats get after it.

The Fort Worth Cats overcame a good performance by Silver Lake left fielder Darrell Prince to knock off Silver Lake, 7-3, at LaGrave Field. Prince was 3-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Jim Currie was the winner. Over 5 innings, he allowed 2 runs on 8 hits, with no walks and 4 strikeouts. Bob Campos converted his 8th save in 10 tries.

Troy Tisdale aided the Fort Worth cause with a 2-run double in the bottom of the seventh. For the game, the second baseman went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.

Tisdale attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."

The Cats have an impressive 43-25 record.
