Fairfield third baseman Gabriel Gómez made his presence felt in the 8-2 Flash triumph over the Albuquerque Cacti. Gómez went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Alex Garrastazu converted his 2nd save in 2 tries. The Flash bumped their record to 35-30 with this latest triumph.

Early in the game, Gómez had a solo home run for Fairfield. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Flash on top, 1-0.
