| Aeropostales Rally For Late Win Over Canadians | The Indian Wells Aeropostales faced a tough opponent in Vancouver pitcher David Peralta, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Stanley Park by a final score of 5-3. Peralta went 6 innings and allowed no earned runs. Tatsuma Okura, credited with the win, is now 3-0. He allowed no runs on 3 hits in 3 innings. Indian Wells has 5 straight wins, Vancouver 6 straight losses.
The Aeropostales got a big at-bat from center fielder Brian Martin. For the game, Martin went 1-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the top of the eighth, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season gave Indian Wells a 4-3 lead.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Martin told reporters after the game.
