| Iwamoto goes 4-for-4, Leads Sphinx to Win | A 3-RBI performance from Tadahisa Iwamoto, who is tied for 8th in the NAL in hits with 64, helped the Cairo Sphinx beat the Birmingham Bears, 12-8. Danny Cook was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 6 runs on 9 hits, with 3 walks and 1 strikeout. The Sphinx bumped their record to 34-33 with this latest triumph.
